All dogs and cats in the City of Brownton are required to have a license no later than January 1st of each year or at other times through the year upon acquiring possession of pet. Cost of license is $5.00 if dog or cat is spayed or neutered, if not cost is $25.00 per pet. Upon application for license, proof of current vaccination for rabies will be required. Citations will be issued for all unlicensed dogs and cats with a fine assessed according to the ordinance. No dogs or cats shall be allowed to run at large within the city at any time. Grass Clippings

Please do not discharge lawn clippings from your lawn mower onto the city street when mowing the boulevard. City ordinance prohibits this and establishes a fine for repeat violations.
